Downtown is such a scary place o___o
Oct 25, The Geography Field Study of Vancouver fieldtrip, we basically tour ALL of vancouver...all the neighborhoods and stuff. We get dropped off somewhere in downtown for an hour or two. When we were crossing the street, we were talked to by a man going "NO FIGHTING, NO FIGHTING!! Don't fight!! Come on, let me take a photo of you guys together! Give me your camera!" >.<;; Scary people. Me, Jing, Jenny and Michelle RAaaaaaaaaaaaaann ;D Mwahaha to the guys behind. XD Then a while later, when we entered chinatown, some guy on a bike approached us and went "Give me your camera! I'll help you take a picture." Eeep. Don't bring cameras there. It's dangerous.
Oct 29, today was the James Cunningham Run :D (LOTS AND LOTS of fun.) When the three of us (Me, Jenny, Jing) just got off the Waterfront skytrain station, some man came up to me and jing (we were dressed up in our halloween gear. Pictures soon) and he was dressed in this jacket that read "Palidan Security" on the side of the sleeve ne? I guess we looked a bit lost and we were looking for the Stanley Park 19th Bus... He was being all courteous and going "Hi there! Do you speak english?" and when we didn't really reply, he was like "Hello? NI HAO! What language do you speak? I'll show you the way"...he looked really dirty with a mustache and everything though. Freaky. Our suspicions were multiplied when he asked us "What's your name?" (to jing?) and then tried to shake my hand (ewwwww...dirty hand!) We just told him we knew the way and then ran off.
Don't go to downtown!! It's bad for you ;D
